A highly collectible 18th century curved Persian shamshir with double tip, so called "Zulfikar". Highly curved with serpent like, undulating very sharp edge and the gold koftgari at the forte. The tip is strengthened points and also show signs of gold koftgari decoration. The hilt of conventional form has some decoration on crossguard and gripscales of ivory in very good condition. The pommel cap uniformly covered with dark patina. Blade is 33 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. Overall 38.5 inches long.
Condition: very good overall. Blade is nice an shiny and very sharp. Koftgari still there, please see photos.
