Very nice XVIII Century Turkish Shamshir with original scabbard. Sharp, curved 32 inches long blade with no decoration - true combat hand forged blade. Blade attached with resin to horn grip with steel crossguard. Scabbard with decorative silver fittings and steel hanger rings. Condition: Blade has some nicks from combat, some patina and darker spots. There is also one spot which looks like blood corrosion about middle of the blade. Solid horn grip and crossguard. Complete scabbard with no leather missing. Top fitting show small separation on the back. Overall nice and complete Shamshir.
