Beautiful 18th century Hungarian Hussar Sword with scabbard, probably made around 1840-s. This is a long combat sword, light - designed to fence and cut from the horse back. Thin, combat 36 inches long blade (42 inches overall) with some flowery engraving on the upper part (barely visible now). Nice condition handle in typical Hungarian style. Wooden, leather covered scabbard with brass decorated in the same style as the blade.
Overall excellent condition, all original except the leather on the scabbard could be a very old replacement.
