Beautiful Hungarian high ranking officer sword wit portepee. Sword was made by "Zelinka in Budapest", Hungary. The blade is Solingen made and it is German Damascus Steel. It is marked "Solingen" on one side and "Zelinka, Budapest" on the other. The basked hilt with "St. George killing the Dragon" on it, is nickel plated. There is also the Crest of the owner engraved on top of the hilt. Sword comes with original, old type Hungarian portepee with Hungarian colors with golden "St. Stephen Crown" and original sword hangers.
Excellent condition for its age. All original, not cleaned or improved in any way. Excellent sword hangers and rare portepee. Scarce sword specially when it can be researched to original owner.
