Very nice French AN XI sword made by Solingen sword maker K.S. & G. The writing on the spine is in French which indicates Napoleonic period when both Kligenthal and Solingen supplied swords for Grand Army. After defeat of Napoleon in 1815, Kligenthal became a "Mnufacture de Royale" and Solingen became supplier for the Prussian Army. Nice regimental marking on both handguard and scabbard (see photos). Heavy combat blade. Condition: Fine. Blade has no dings but it has an old black spots in few places. Excellent handuard and grip - nothing missing. Scabbard in great shape with no dents covered with old patina.
