Beautiful Caucasian Shashqua probably early 19th Century. Locally made blade with organically etched floral design on both side. Beautiful handle with elaborate gold inlaid design. Black leather covered wooden scabbard with fittings of same design as grip. Condition: Fine. Sharp blade with uniform patina and some darker spots, but no dings or chips. Grip in excellent shape with about 50% of golden inlays remaining. Scabbard is solid, no cracks or splits just many scratches and rubs. Overall a very good addition to any sword collection.
