Beautiful condition Colonial issue "BRAENDLIN ALBINI VOLUNTEER RIFLE". Caliber: .577, barrel length 39",standard front and rear sights; WD & inspection stamps to breech. "BRAENDLIN-ALBINI Patent" and Patent number marked on the action. Lock plate dated "1867" & marked with a small "Crown over WT". Mellow brass regulation furniture with butt tang marked: "ROYAL CYPHER SA 123";
Condition: Fine plus. Excellent profiles and clear markings. Blue/grey finish to barrel, lock and fittings; Fine stock with minor bruising on the right of butt (see photos). No cleaning rod. Bore with strong rifling but needs good cleaning. Mechanically excellent and everything works great. Dated 1867.
