Unmarked South African Martini Henry S/S Service rifle. Caliber: .450 - bore marked "52" (gauges), barrel length: 33.2". The rifle doesn't have any manufacturer markings, but on the left side of the barrel are Birmingham proofs which indicates commercial product. The left side of the receiver marked: "Z.A.R. 7067" (South African Republic). No pin running trough the rear of the fore-end, indicates Mk.III or IV. This commercial military style rifles are often referred as "Volunteer Rifles". The rifle comes with a very nice nickel plated rear sight and barrel end cover. Condition: fine plus about 70% of black metal finish remains on the metal. Mechanically in excellent working condition. Very good bore, a little dark but with strong rifling.
