Interesting Infantry Officer Shako from colorful era of Franz Josef of Austro-Hungarian Empire. Solid body made of black wool and leather. Gold gilding to wire on the visor. Golden band indicating rank (Major)on the top section, with beautifully gilded Imperial Eagle on the front. Silk liner with maker name and "56" size. Condition: excellent for its age. Shako is complete and nothing missing. Liner is torn in one place and could be repaired if required.
