Standard Imperial Russian Mosin-Nagant M.1891 bayonet made by the Izhevsk arsenal, and accordingly stamped on the socket ("Bow and Arrow"). The bayonet comes with an unusual leather scabbard with brass fittings. The latter does not display any markings. The scabbard shows age and is undoubtedly original. The exact origin of the scabbard is unknown. The Mosin-Nagant leather scabbards were manufactured by several countries. CONDITION: Fine. 78% of blue finish is still present on metal. The locking ring works fine. The leather scabbard is in very good+ condition. The leather is still soft. The stitching is strong. (Janzen p.164/2)
