Austro-Hungarian M.1912 Mauser export bayonet. Complete with a steel scabbard. The bayonet does not show any markings. The scabbard frog's hook shows a fading serial number. These bayonets were manufactured by Oesterreichische Waffenfabriks - Gesellschaft, Steyr for several Latin American countries (Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, etc.). This type of bayonet was also issued with some 7 mm caliber M.1912 rifles to the Austro-Hungarian forces during the Great War. CONDITION: Fine. Blade is nice and clean. Scabbard shows 96% of its original blue finish. Wooden grips are in excellent condition with some minor handling marks.
