Scarce Polish World War Two bayonet. Marked on the blade "PERKUN", "WP" and Polish Eagle. The hilt is marked, "WZ. 24.". Complete with a German (?) scabbard with no markings of any kind. This is a version with the flashguard and without the muzzle ring. The bayonet is finished in blue like German bayonets of the period. CONDITION: Low fine. The bayonet was most likely blued by Nazis. Blade shows about 75% of blue finish with some sharpening marks on its edge. The hilt shows no blue finish. Wooden grips are in good to very good condition with some minor handling marks. The right side grip shows a hairline crack. The scabbard has 40% of blue finish, with a balance in brownish patina. Scabbard has no dents. The scabbard screw is missing. Serial # 1937XX. Consignment.
